Ecological Compatibility

In the modern high-tech world ecology of the environment and quality of interior and urban landscape started to gain particular significance. FCL Company cares about the future of the planet and uses in production only ecological friendly materials and methods. 

Ecological compatibility of furniture is understood as result of a number of measures on production and maintenance of our products. All architectural landscape elements by FCL are made on the basis of triunity of materials: stone – wood – metal. Consequently, we use the latest technologies in production and processing of all materials.  

Ecological Compatibility of Manufacture  

    For treatment of wooden elements we use paints and water and polymeric steeps. Wood deeply sodden with special steeps does not emit toxic agents. 

    Metal elements are made of sheet metal. All the details, pipes and fastening elements are powder painted. This is a modern economic ecological friendly technology of creation of high-quality decoration cover for various objects. Powder painting method includes application of polymeric powder on the article with the further heating and curing. One layer is enough for high-quality coating. One of the advantages of such technology is stability of the coating which is acid-resistant, temperature differences resistant, non-corrosive and possesses high electrical insulating properties. 

 
     The basic characteristic of ecological compatibility for natural stone is its radiation safety. Since granite is extracted from the depths of the Earth, its radiation exceeds residual radiation on the surface. When we work with suppliers of stone products we pay special attention to correspondence of these products to requirements of radiation safety. 

      Working with wood, stone and metal FCL follows the world standards of processing of each material type. We strive for optimal combination of ergonomic characteristics and properties of the materials to provide the comfort and ecological compatibility of the furniture. When we decorate cities we create ecological friendly urban environment for inhabitants, call upon the townspeople to pay more attention to elements of nature in urban environment. 

Ecological Compatibility of Exploitation 

      One of the requirements put forward to modern objects of decoration and beautification is their longevity and simplicity of substitution of damaged elements. We offer our programme of maintenance of urban furniture. Its main purpose is to give opportunity to use the elements repeatedly. 

      The first step of the programme is realized already on the stage of designing: we try to make all elements of the new piece of furniture universal. We also suppose there is no necessity to substitute the whole set of metal or wooden details. It will be enough to substitute just one damaged element. 

      The second step is production stage that is done with the obligatory following of ecological requirements that were described above. 

      The third step of the programme presupposes possibility to restore the elements. This includes special treatment of old details. Thus we aim to avoid wasting the details by creation of recycling and repeated use cycle.
